The line of storms that developed west of the Metroplex earlier this morning are moving through the area as we speak. The rain will be heavy at times, with a few of the heavier cells south of the Metroplex with small pea-sized hail reported.
A low tornado threat is still possible toward Waco, but the threat closer to home is still very minimal.
Skies will turn sunny by afternoon, with temps climbing well into the 60s to near 70 south. Second cold front arrives tonight. Much colder by AM (30s) and only rebounding into the lower 50s Friday. Clouds early Saturday clear out with highs near 60, then gusty winds and upper 60s Sunday with increasing clouds.
