Mesquite police are hoping surveillance images will help them find two men suspected of brutally beating and robbing a man.
The victim was attacked as he was walking to a jewelry store in Town East Mall on Valentine's Day. He had a wad of cash in his hand. The suspects were not armed, but badly beat the man and left him with broken bones.
"It's my understanding they struck the victim a number of times which caused the serious bodily injury. I have no information about the victim fighting back or the victim doing anything or saying anything," said Sgt. Brian Parrish with the Mesquite Police Department.
Police said they will charge the two men with aggravated robbery.
