ARLINGTON -
A man was arrested after he drove into a sports complex early Friday morning.
Police were trying to make a traffic stop when the driver took off down Timberlake Drive around 2 a.m. Instead of turning onto Pioneer Road he kept going straight and crashed inside the sports complex used for volleyball games.
Police surrounded the building because the driver refused to come out. Using the help of dogs, officers were able to get the man and his female passenger out of the car.
The man was arrested and taken to jail. The woman was injured and rushed to the hospital.
