DALLAS -
A Dallas Independent School District teacher has been
accused of sexually assaulting a student.
According to an arrest warrant, a 17-year-old girl said Molina
High School teacher and wrestling coach Philon Deberry lured her into a locker
room and forced her to perform sex acts on him. She finally got away after
hitting him.
Police arrested the 43-year-old and charged him with sexual assault
and having an improper relationship between an educator and a student.
He has been with the district for four years, but was already
on leave because of an unrelated rules violation earlier this month.
