Man dragged, killed by hit & run driver

Dallas police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a man early Saturday morning.

The victim, described as a white male in his forties, was pushing a shopping cart across the 17800 block of Coit Rd around 2:15 AM.

he suspect hit the victim and then dragged him more than 100 feet, according to police.

He suffered blunt force trauma to the head and body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness says the driver stopped briefly after the collision but then took off. 

The suspect's vehicle is described as being either a yellow, gold or orange pick up.
