A strong storm system will be affecting North Texas later on tonight and through the day on Monday. This storm will bring a significant change from the weather we had on Sunday. A line of showers and thunderstorms will be moving across the region after midnight, and especially during the morning hours tomorrow. The winds will also be a major factor in Monday's weather. Gusts as high as 40-50 mph may affect the region by the afternoon hours. There is a slight chance for a little snow mixed in with rain here Monday afternoon, but no accumulations are expected. Areas along the Red River may see between 1/2-1" amounts possibly. Winter Storm Warnings and Blizzard Warnings are in affect for the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma. Drier conditions are expected from Tuesday through the end of the week. Stay tuned to FOX 4 for the latest in weather information.
