Arlington parents camp out for school transfers

ARLINGTON, Texas -

Parents in the Arlington school district began camping out at the district offices Monday morning to get their child into a better school.

They were allowed to show up before dawn, but had to buy a $50 camping permit.

The district will begin accepting transfer applications on Saturday.

Arlington ISD allows students to transfer to any school in the district with openings.
