DALLAS -
A grand jury has indicted a Richland Hills man accused of cutting a pentagram into his son's back with a box cutter.
Brent Bartel called 911 last December saying he carved the
symbol on the 6-year-old because it was a holy day. The cuts were not life
threatening, but covered the majority of the child's back.
Bartel was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a
deadly weapon.
If convicted he will face up to 20 years in prison.
