Someone has been stealing catalytic converter from trucks in North Texas auto dealership lots.
Corinth police said over the past month Classic Dodge-Mazda of Denton has been hit twice.
The thieves have removed more than $84,000 worth of catalytic converters from 2012 and 2013 model Dodge Cummins diesel trucks.
The parts often contain valuable metals that the thieves try to turn in for a profit.
But police and the dealerships have stepped up their security to try to stop the trend.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Lt. Jimmie Gregg at 940-498-2017. A $10,000 reward is available for tips that lead to an arrest in the case.
