Arizonans rally against possible toll roads

Posted: Updated:

Arizonans are rallying at the Arizona Capitol to show lawmakers the public doesn't want toll roads in the state.

Opposers claim Arizona already has plenty of money coming in to maintain our highways and to build new roads.

Drivers in Arizona currently pay a gas tax of 18 cents per gallon and a Federal gas tax of 18.4 cents, both meant to be used on Arizona highways, along with the AZ Highway User Revenue Fund.
