A grand jury has dropped the charges against several Prosper teens, including the son of Major League Baseball star Torii Hunter, who were accused of sexually assaulting a classmate
Darius McClinton-Hunter, Garrick White and three juveniles were arrested in May 2012 and charged for allegedly giving a female classmate drugs and forcing her to have sex.
A Collin County grand jury declined to indict the juveniles earlier this month.
On Wednesday all charges against McClinton-Hunter were dropped as well because the grand jury said there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute him.
The teen's attorney said he was "elated" and hopeful he could resume playing football. He missed his senior year at Prosper High School and colleges stopped recruiting him because of the case.
The sexual assault charges against White were dropped, but he was indicted the unlawful restraint of a child.
His attorney said he has serious questions about the case.
