A sunny and cool day across North Texas will give way to much warmer weather in the days ahead. Sunny skies will continue across the region on Sunday as daytime highs will climb into the upper 60s to near 70. We may be pretty close to 80 degrees on Monday! Winds will also pick up, as gusts up to 25-35 mph can be expected for the beginning of next week. Much of the week should be quiet. A 'dry' cold front will drop temperatures down by the middle of next week with 50s and 60s expected. The next chance for rain may not occur until next weekend when a stronger system moves in.
