Saginaw police have arrested two people for the shooting death of a woman early Sunday morning.
Police spokesman Damon Ing said just after midnight officers were called to the 100 block of Bailey-Boswell Road East. They found a car off the roadway and in a field.
A woman in the vehicle, identified as Deidra Louis Blackmon, had been shot. She was taken to JPS hospital, where she later died.
Thanks to tips from the public, police arrested Jeffrey Hansana for murder and Heather Rene Thompson for failure to report a felony.
Ing said the pair got into an argument with Blackmon at a convenience store, followed her and then shot her as she drove away.
Both are being held at the Saginaw jail. Hansana's bond was set at $250,000 and Thompson's was set at $10,000.
