PHILADELPHIA -

We've seen plenty of rain and wind, especially down the shore, over the past 12 hours.

Ultimate Doppler Rafter this morning shows the last of the showers are starting to push off the New Jersey coastline. We've got winds from the north really moving in, and that's going to bring some relief probably later on today.

But, in the meantime, the damage has already been done with the flooding.

Coastal Flood Warnings remain in effect for all of New Jersey and Delaware. That is until 9 a.m. on Friday.

CHECK: Latest NWS Weather Warnings, Watches, Advisories

So for anyone along the shoreline who has already seen some flooding, there are additional times of concern as high tides continue to move in later today and then overnight.

The high tide will be shortly before 4 p.m. for Atlantic City and hour later for Cape May, and an hour after that for the Delaware beaches. We'll have an additional high tide overnight tonight, around 4 or 5 a.m.

Video and photos sent to UREPORT on myfoxphilly.com showed flooded roads and heavy rain in Ocean City, Wildwood and other areas.

Even though it looks like it is starting to dry out today, more showers might spin back in later this afternoon. Wind gusts are still between 30 and 40 mph across the area.

Conditions will remain pretty brisk, with temperatures steady in the low- to mid-40s, and we won't see much warming until the weekend.

Snow showers are actually in the forecast for later on tonight. We know it is hard to believe, at this point, but it doesn't look like anything that will accumulate much.

Rain and snow showers may even linger into Friday.

Once the weekend comes, we'll finally see a change and some nice spring-like temperatures to go along with it.

We're expecting temperatures of 52 on Saturday with sunshine, and 57 on Sunday. Some of us could even hit 60 degrees. If we don't on Sunday, we look to Monday, which will be very mild out ahead of some rain, which comes in on Tuesday.

Things dry out a bit Wednesday, when it will be a little cooler at 50 degrees.

Don't forget, we spring forward with our clocks by one hour over the weekend, losing an hour of sleep but gaining an extra hour of daylight starting Sunday.

Today's weather? Cloudy, muggy, and eventually, stormy. If you get a strong to severe storm, it would probably be lat afternoon and evening.  Highs in the upper 70s. Some of the storms will produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.

This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
