Fox Sports 1 coming summer 2013

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Fox Sports 1 is coming. It's a brand-new cable sports network that will hit the air this summer.

Athletes and other stars attended a party at the Roseland Ballroom on Tuesday night to introduce it.

The stars walked a blue carpet as Fox Sports Media Group officially unveiled plans to launch a national multisport network.

One of the people FS1 has hired to host a daily show from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day called Rush hour is everyone's favorite: Regis Philbin.

We talked to Regis, Eric Shanks, the Fox Sports Media Group co-president and COO, Troy Aikman, and Terry Bradshaw about the new network.

Fox Sports 1 will launch August 17.
