Fort Worth couple raffling off part of their baby's name

Posted: Updated:
FORT WORTH, Texas -

A Fort Worth family is giving you the chance to help name their daughter and help out a good cause in the process.

Drew and Tanya Meyers already have the first name picked out. It will be Ily which is an abbreviation for I love you. It's a phrase Drew's mother always uses with him in letters or text messages.

You have the chance to choose Ily's middle name.

For $25, you enter your name suggestion in the raffle and the winner will be chosen July 31st.

All the money raised will be donated to the Fort Worth Pregnancy Center.

"Really the only rules that we have is there has to be a story behind the name. We want something cool, we want something unique, we just don't want someone to pick something out of the air," said Drew Myers.

The couple says no names that start with a B since the baby's initials would be IBM.

No hot dog references, like Oscar Mayer.

They also get ultimate veto power but the winner will get to choose a different name.
