A 2,400-mile relay from Atlanta to Guatemala City began on Monday.
The relay is being run by EQUIP Leadership, which is a leadership development company that trains leaders worldwide. EQUIP World Relay CEO John Hull, who is making the journey, told FOX 5 that the purpose of the relay is to bring attention to the possibilities that exist in the Central American country.
The journey is expected to take four months and will include stops in several cities along the route.
The group will meet cohorts on the Mexican border who will then finish the relay in Guatemala. Hull says they will cover about 22 miles a day over a four-month span.
