33 year old Roni Catherine Lisenbe is jailed in Parker County after telling 911 dispatchers she shot her boyfriend.
Parker County Sheriff spokesman Danie Huffman says when deputies arrived at Lisenbe's home just outside Springtown, she was sitting on the front porch. Deputy Huffman says the woman told investigators she and her boyfriend had a domestic argument and that she shot him with a Glock 23 semi automatic pistol. Deputies found the man in a bedroom. He was taken to a hospital in Azle but died of his wounds.
Deputies took Lisenbe into custody at her home. She has been charged with murder.
The name of the dead man has not yet been released.
