A Fort Worth woman badly hurt by a hit and run driver last Sunday was also the victim of thieves after she was struck by the vehicle. All of her belongings were taken as she lay helpless in the middle of the road.
Donna Cunningham is still in critical condition after being struck by the car last week.
Detectives are hoping surveillance video from two nearby gas stations will show the car that struck Cunningham as she tried to cross the street at Seminary Drive and Wichita Street.
The person driving the car could be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
Cunningham's injuries are so severe, Fort Worth police haven't been able to talk to her about what happened.
