Dallas bridge to close for next year and a half

Crews are shutting down a major artery that connects downtown Dallas to Oak Cliff on Sunday night.

The Houston Street bridge will be shut down for the next year and a half.

Crews are installing a 48-million dollar street car line that will hook up Union Station with the Berkley-Colorado intersection.

In the meantime, traffic will be redirected to the Jefferson Boulevard bridge.
