The ban on large sized sugary beverages goes into effect Tuesday. Talk radio host Curtis Sliwa had plenty to say about the new regulation in New York City.

"This is the oldest trick in the book.  This is just another way to give them (inspectors) some lettuce and walk away. I can walk into a C-Town and get two liters of the low budget stuff and you can't touch me because its state regulated. But anything city regulated, my God they'll probably take vaporized coca-cola from my breath and tell me I'm over the limit," said Sliwa.

Curtis Sliwa is the host of The Curtis Sliwa Show on AM 970 The Answer
