DALLAS -

A Domino's Pizza delivery man was robbed Monday afternoon after his customers complained that their food was late.

According to a police report, the crime happened at an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Old Hickory Trail in Dallas around 5:30 p.m.

The delivery man said he had trouble finding the correct apartment so he called to confirm the location. When he finally got there three men argued with him about their food being free.

A fourth man came up from behind him, pushed him inside the apartment and displayed a weapon, he said.

The report states the men took the delivery man's food, money and cellphone. They took his keys to ransack his car and then shoved him inside a laundry room closet, saying they would kill him if he came out.

The victim called for help after the suspects got away.

Police said they are still investigating the case and have not yet arrested anyone.
