A blind woman's missing guide dog has been found thanks to help from the media and the public.
Anka, a 5-year-old black female Labrador, escaped from Kiem Dinsmore's yard in the 2300 block of Proctor Street in Garland on March 7. She was wearing a training colar with no tags.
A man said he picked up the dog thinking she was lost. And after seeing media reports he noticed the unique tattoo in her ear.
He contacted Guide Dogs for the Blind, the company that paired Dinsmore with Anka in 2009.
The two were reuinited Wednesday.
