Emmitt Smith gives the media a tour of the new Youth Education Town.
ARLINGTON, Texas -
Long after Super Bowl XLV, Arlington is still reaping rewards of the game.
Thanks to money donated by Jerry Jones and the NFL, the Salvation Army is building a facility called the Youth Education Town.
The 8,000-square-foot building will include a huge gym where kids can burn off some energy. There will be classes such as dance and art and space where children can do homework or use a computer to learn and improve.
Youth Education Town is expected to serve at least 2,000 people.
It is slated to open in late summer.
