Thieves took a cat from a Frisco pet store adoption center.
According to the Frisco Humane Society, a couple of teens cut open a lock on the cage of a female kitten named Firefly at the Petsmart store on Preston Road on Thursday.
Although police are working to track down the suspects, the shelter is afraid for the kitten's safety.
She deserved a life with a loving family, it said.
Anyone with information about Firefly should call police or the shelter at 972-498-8980.
