Temperatures will continue to warm up as we get into Saturday. Gusty, south winds will help soar afternoon highs in the lower to middle 80s. The western portions of the region may see temperatures approaching 90 degrees! A weak cold front will move through the area on Sunday cooling us down on St. Patrick's Day. However, it won't be a drastic cool down. Afternoon highs will still climb into the middle 70s with mostly cloudy skies. There could be a few sprinkles, but low level moisture will be limited so most of the area will be dry. The best chances for rain will be over East Texas. The dry weather is expected to continue through the first few days of next week with afternoon highs near normal.
