(AP) -- Authorities say two North Texas brothers have been arrested in Hawaii as they were attempting to board a flight and flee charges of sexually assaulting a young girl.
Corsicana Police Chief Randy Bratton says 43-year-old Tarius Manuere and 40-year-old Noah Manuere were apprehended Friday as they prepared to board a flight in Honolulu to the South Pacific islands of Micronesia.
The suspects are each facing a single count of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Bratton declined to give the age of the girl, only saying that she's a "tween" who knew the Manueres. He says the assault occurred last year in Corsicana, about 50 miles south of Dallas.
