Saint Patrick's Day front means cooler weather for north Texas

Posted: Updated:

The morning started very mild with temps in the mid to upper 60s across the area, but as a front passes through north Texas by the early morning, temps will drop 10-20° in just a short period of time.

Not to worry though, the area should recuperate by the afternoon with Metroplex highs in the upper 60s and near 70°, with mostly cloudy skies and light winds.

A sprinkle or two may pop up as the front passes, but little to no accumulation is expected from this less-than-potent frontal passage.

Breezes return on Monday with highs in the upper 60s.
