CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are asking for help identifying a deceased middle-aged woman who was recently found in an Andersonville driveway.

Police described the woman, believed to be about 60, as "well-manicured" with dyed-brown hair and teeth that have undergone dental work.

She was discovered in a driveway in the 5400 block of North Ashland Avenue in the Andersonville neighborhood, according to a police alert sent out early Wednesday.

Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said he did not know when exactly the woman's body was discovered.

Police said she was a medium-complexioned white woman, who weighed roughly 125 pounds and stood about 5-foot-5. She did not have any defining scars, marks or tattoos on her body.

Anyone who can help police identify the woman is asked to call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8261.
