Celebrities, religious, and political leaders are teaming up with Dallas mayor Mike Rawlings in his quest to end domestic violence.
Organizers spent the night setting up the stage for Saturday's "Men against Abuse" rally at Dallas city hall.
The event aims to bring awareness to domestic abuse in light of the recent rise of cases in Dallas, plus some high profile murders.
Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famers Roger Staubach and Emmitt Smith will attend the event as well as leaders from various churches and state lawmakers from both major political parties, and 1000 male Dallas ISD students.
Mayor Rawlings is hoping ten thousand men turn out for the event.
The rally starts at 10 AM.
