Teacher indicted in deadly hit & run of child

Posted: Updated:

The attorney representing a former Grand Prairie teacher, accused in the hit and run death of a child, believes his client will be found not guilty.

A grand jury indicted the former middle school teacher, Tammy Lowe, for a second time Friday on charges of manslaughter and failing to stop and render aid.

Police say Lowe ran a red light and hit and killed 6 year old John Paul Raidy in January.

The first indictment was dropped because Lowe's defense was not able to present it's case to the grand jury.
