Scattered thunderstorms this morning, north and east of Dallas/Ft. Worth, have now moved south of the region. Skies cleared nicely after a cold front moved through, as drier air and mild temperatures filtered into the region. We'll have a beautiful day on Monday before a strong cold front moves through the area on Tuesday. Showers are expected in North Texas on Tuesday and Wednesday as some of the rain could be heavy. As of right now, severe weather should be limited. Afternoon highs will be struggling to get out of the 50s. By Thursday, drier air moves in and it appears the end of the week should be quite pleasant. Friday's weather for the home opener for the Texas Rangers should be pleasant with afternoon highs in the 70s.
