Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Carjacking Of 80-Year-Old Woman

BROOKLAWN, N.J. -

Police in Brooklawn, New Jersey on Tuesday released the sketch of a suspect officers say carjacked an 80-year-old woman outside of a Route 130 diner over the weekend.

The suspect seen in the sketch is wanted for questioning in connection to the carjacking at the Metro Diner. Police say the woman was carjacked just before 11 a.m. Sunday.

The victim told FOX 29's Dave Kinchen she had just finished eating a holiday meal with her family when she was approached by a man.

Investigators tell FOX 29 the suspect had just tried to return nearly $20 worth of stolen items at a nearby Rite Aid. Police say they believe the suspect carjacked the woman to use her car as a getaway car.
