Posted: Updated:

A Dallas County prisoner is back in custody after being on the run for nearly 24 hours.

Deputies say Donald Greenlee escaped the Lew Sterrett Justice Center while taking out some trash early Wednesday morning. He made a run for it after climbing a razor wire fence.

Greenlee was was arrested in February in Denton County for a burglary charge that dates back to 1997. He now faces charges for escaping in addition to the burglary charge.

Deputies have not said how Greenlee was caught.
