Motorcycle rally raises money for veterans wounded in combat

DALLAS -

Two of this country's most celebrated wounded warriors were in North Texas on Saturday, honored in the second annual fundraising motorcycle ride called Miles for Mills.

Sgt. Jordan Folmar, 23, lost both of his legs in Afghanistan last July during his second tour.

Staff Sgt. Travis Mills lost both arms and both legs in Afghanistan when he was hit with an IED filled with glass.

But, through all of their hardship, both men are using humor and the support of others to move forward with their lives.

Hundreds showed up for the ride at Strokers in Dallas, which raised tens of thousands of dollars last year.  With the money raised this year, Folmar hopes to modify his home.
