FAIRFAX, Va. -

Months before Newtown - an artist was working on a project about guns. That project has rolled into our area.  It is a yellow school bus, shot up with about 6000 rounds of ammunition.

Artist Viktor Mitic says, “The idea is to bring the viewer as close as possible to the actual devastation that a gun can make.”

Mitic grew up in Yugoslavia and lives in Canada. Most artists use a paint brush, Mitic uses a gun.

“It represents innocence, but in nature yellow and red are the signs of danger and I kind of wanted to embed the negative energy into something very positive and kind of merge it,” says Mitic.
