Ill. House approves driver education requirement for permit

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Illinois House approved a bill that could change how young adult drivers get their licenses.

The bill would require individuals 18 to 20 years old to take an online driver education course to get a permit.

Anyone over the age of 18 is not currently required to take a class. They only need to pass the driving test.
