DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

It's the video that has everyone talking.

A woman slammed her truck into a bike shop on Detroit's east side Thursday. The guy inside bailed out, leaving the driver and one of her girlfriends to clean up the mess. When it was all over, all they left with was their case of beer.

You might find the video funny, unless that's your truck and your 23-year-old daughter.

"I didn't know who it was at first, and when I found out about it, I was surprised," says the driver's dad, James Smith.

Smith found out about the accident when her lawyer called him. He knew she had been using his truck to drive to work, but wasn't aware of the accident. Smith says his daughter doesn't have a record and her lawyer is working with police, arranging for her to turn herself in. He says he hopes she learned her lesson.

Whether she learned her lesson or not, that crash still left an estimated $10,000 worth of damage. Hopefully her dad won't have to foot that bill.
