Winds forced the city of Richardson to postpone mosquito spraying Sunday evening.
Richardson now plans to spray Monday and Tuesday nights, between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.
The city will spray in areas where mosquito traps tested positive for the West Nile Virus.
Crews will spray around the University of Texas at Dallas campus and areas near Lookout Park. The city will also spray from the President George Bush Turnpike to Breckenridge Park.
Richardson started testing mosquitoes for West Nile virus this month, the earliest testing it's ever done. Typically monitoring starts in May, but was moved up following last year's spike in cases across the metroplex.
