Hundreds Gather On Boston Common After Suspect's Arrest

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON -

Hundreds headed to Boston Common for a much-needed celebration on Friday night.

More than 1,000 people, many of them Boston-area college students, made their way towards the common to celebrate the news that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, was in police custody.

There were lots of American flags on hand as the rowdy group chanted "U.S.A." and sang the chorus to the Fenway Park favorite "Sweet Caroline."
