A fantastic day on Saturday will stretch itself into Sunday. Afternoon high temperatures were in the lower 70s today. We'll be in the middle 70s tomorrow and near 80 on Monday under mostly sunny skies. Some high level cloudiness is expected, but no rain is forecast. On Tuesday, we'll have another strong cold front move through which may give us another round of showers and thunderstorms. The 'capping inversion' is very strong in the upper levels of the atmosphere, so severe weather may be limited here in North Texas. Temperatures will cool into the 60s by mid-week and slowly climb up into the lower 70s by weeks end. It appears that there might be a stronger system move in by next weekend giving us a better chance for thunderstorm activity. Stay tuned ....
