Police are still searching for a driver who hit and killed a Good Samaritan over the weekend and kept going.
Rishonda King was the driver of the vehicle that Michael Love was helping.
King was on her way home from the hospital with her three-year-old son and six others.
Love stopped on the side of the road and was helping King put gas into her car late Friday night along I-20 near Highway 67.
"Tons of cars had passed us without even trying to render aid. He was like I'm going to try to help you. You shouldn't be out here, you've got all these kids in the car. Let me help you," King said.
King says after a driver hit Love, throwing the Good Samaritan for a distance. Then the driver of the car stopped, looked back and sped off.
King will be forever thankful for Love's actions.
"He covered me with his body. If he hadn't covered me with his body, the car would've hit me," King said.
