Detroit Country Day School jazz band performs on Fox 2

The Detroit Country Day School jazz band is getting ready for their upcoming Celebrate the Arts event today through Sunday, April 28. The performance takes place from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Detroit Country Day Upper School in Beverly Hills.

Twelve students from Detroit Country Day School are nationally recognized and have been awarded with 14 National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

The Friends of the Arts Association will host the Celebrate the Arts festival. The event is free and open to the public. Detroit Country Day School's students of all grade levels will perform at the event, featuring original artwork, musical, dramatic and dance performances.

Detroit Country Day Upper School is located at 22305 West 13 Mile Rd. in Beverly Hills.
