SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

Thirty-five gallons of New England clam chowder, served up to help the victims of the Boston bombings.

Chef Beau MacMillan served his chowder to guests at a fundraiser for Boston.

The Boston native has appeared on the Food Network and lives in the valley. He joined up with Le Cordon Bleu for Friday's "Soup for Support" fundraiser in Scottsdale.

100 percent of the money collected will go to The One Fund Boston.

"How awesome it really was to see everyone come together as fast as possible, respond instantly and rally. This is the birthplace of our nation, Boston, Massachusetts," said MacMillan.

"We have a school in Boston that was right around the corner from this tragedy. Our hearts go out to all the people affected," said Jon-Paul Hutchins, lead instructor at Le Cordon Bleu.

Friday, they also fed firefighters and police officers for free as a way of saying thanks.
