Despite some high clouds across North Texas, it turned out to be a beautiful day. Afternoon highs were in the 70s and that should give way to 80s for the first few days of next week. A frontal system, to our far south, will kick off thunderstorm activity tonight in Central Texas, but no rainfall is expected here. The long range forecast suggests that yet another very strong cold front will be moving through the middle of next week dropping temperatures into the 60s for daytime highs on Thursday and Friday. Low will be in the 40s. We also see a chance for showers and thunderstorms at that time with the front moving in. Keep your fingers crossed, we need the rain!
