George W. Bush library now open to public

The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum is now open to the public.

Dozens lined up early for a chance to be the first ones to visit the museum located on the campus of Southern Methodist University.

Library and museum spokesman John Orrell says 43 students from the Dallas-Fort Worth area were chosen by their superintendents to be the first visitors to the museum.

Those students got a surprise when President George W. Bush showed up during their tour of the museum's Oval Office replica.

The museum features exhibits about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the war on terror and Hurricane Katrina, among other topics.
