Police in Brooklawn say they have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection to the Easter Sunday carjacking of an 80-year-old woman.
The woman was carjacked outside of the metro Diner at Route 130 and Browning Road around 10:40 a.m. on March 31.
According to police, Nicholas Silvestro of Gloucester City was arrested Wednesday. Police say he faces Carjacking, Theft, Aggravated Assault, Robbery and Shoplifting charges.
Police say Silvestro allegedly pulled the woman from her car and then drove off.
At the time of the carjacking, investigators told FOX 29 they believed the suspect may have possibly shoplifted from a Rite Aid next door before the alleged carjacking took place.
