NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A Queens man accused of sexually assaulting girls in Queens has been charged and arraigned, authorities said.

Authorities charged Lee Samuel, 25, of Queens, with sex abuse, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sex act, the NYPD said.

Samuel has 16 arrests on his record dating back to when he was 17 years old. A case from 2005 is sealed, sources told Fox 5.

On Tuesday, a source told Fox 5 that a Samuel made statements implicating himself in the series of incidents that happened in South Ozone Park.

Police had been hunting the man who assaulted two girls on the same day and then exposed himself to another girl a day later.

On May 1, a 7-year-old girl was playing outside of her house just before 3 p.m. when a man grabbed her buttocks, police said. The girl's sister witnessed the incident and yelled at the suspect. He ran off.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured the suspect walking in the neighborhood, said police.

Later in the day, the man performed a sex act on a 7-year-old girl who was outside in a driveway, according to investigators.

Then Thursday, a 13-year-old girl witnessed a man fitting the suspect's description exposing himself in a car.

Police had offered a $12,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the sexual predator.

Despite the arrest, anyone with information about these crimes is encouraged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers:
