MYFOXNY.COM -

Burt Bacharach, legendary singer and composer, is out with a new memoir, 'Anyone Who Had A Heart.'

"I didn't want to do it originally. I'd rather live in the present and the future. Not looking back at what I had done. A friend of mine talked me into it, saying 'who's going to tell the stories... if it's not you?"

The eight time Grammy award winner and three time Oscar winner grew up in Forest Hills, Queens.

"I wasn't a happy kid. I was a pretty lonely kid," said Bacharach.

But success brought happiness.

"I'm very passionate about my work. You only have three or four minutes to make it perfect. There is no filler material," said Bacharach.

Richie Sambora spent 30 years as the lead guitarist of rock band Bon Jovi. Nowadays, he's touring with Orianthi, the former lead guitarist for the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. “We’ve been tearing it up. It’s been the improvisational thing. It’s a very exciting thing," said Sambora during Good Day New York. The New Jersey native from "a blue collar, working class family" missed home and watching his daughter grow.

News isn't breaking -- it's already broken apart into something completely different than it once was. And all you need are these two reliable sources to verify that fact: the millennial generation and one a few before it.It's unclear what's scarier: how much news has changed or that someone knows Joel Waldman and not Murrow, Cronkite or Brokaw. Either way, with the emergence of everything from Twitter and Facebook and alternative news websites from Mashable to Gawker.
