Thanks to Chef David Holben for this recipe.

Serves 6

1 cup                     Flour
1 ½ tsp                  Baking Powder
1 ½ tsp                  Salt
1 ea                        Egg, slightly beaten
1 cup                     Half and Half
2 tbsp                    Butter, unsalted melted
Vegetable Spray

1 cup                     Whipped Cream
1 cup                     Godiva Chocolate Chips
½ cup                    Maple Syrup, Warm
1 ½ cups               Fresh Strawberries, Hulled and cut into quarters
4 tbsp                    Whipped butter
Powdered sugar

Heat waffle iron to medium high.  Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl.  In another bowl mix the eggs, half and half.  Add the egg and half and half mixture to the dry all at once and mix well.  Then stir in the melted butter.  Pour about ¼ to ½ cup of the batter into your iron. Sprinkle one tbsp of the chocolate chips over the mixture.   Close the iron and let cook until golden brown.

Remove the waffle and brush with the whipped butter.  Place one waffle on the plate and a layer of strawberries, drizzle with some syrup.  Place another waffle on top with a dollop of whipped cream.  Garnish with a half of strawberry, chocolate chips and powdered sugar.  Drizzle one tbsp of syrup around the waffles.
